LOVE

A love story is not always a romance

A love story is so much more than a romance. As kids, our siblings are our first friends, our first enemies. As we grow older, there may be tension but the love story remains.

A love story could be the parent for their child, and in some instances, a child that may not be yours from birth, but that has blessed your family and the love story has grown deeper and deeper as the years pass by.

A love story could be a friendship from elementary school that has spanned a lifetime. Perhaps it’s a friendship that started later in life and despite the distance or time that passes, the love continues. A friendship that even after months years even decades, you can reconnect and it’s as if time just melts away.

A love story could be the love for an ex (spouse or otherwise) that though the relationship has ended, you still love that person for the time that they were a part of your life. I know that this sounds crazy but my husband and I love our exes. without them, we would not be who we are today and we would not have our children.

The ultimate love story is the love God has for us. It’s unconditional and despite our crazy, he loves us anyways.
